MEET THE CHEF
Our talented Head Chef, Abhijit Dasalkar has extensive culinary experience, not only has he worked as Head Chef in the UK but started off his career in India. Abi’s flair and imagination in the kitchen breeds innovative menus which incorporate the best quality local produce.
From the age of 10 years old Abi knew he wanted to become a chef. Growing up, he was surrounded by good food; Abi’s Mother was renowned for her home cooking and the attention to detail in each dish, clearly passing this enthusiasm down to her son. His passion for cooking is now displayed in his flavourful recipes.
Abi says cooking is “an amalgamation of Art and Science”, he loves being creative with food and working with the changing seasons to always ensure fresh produce is utilised. When describing his cooking ethos, Abi outlines the four elements he brings to the plate “fresh, seasonal, bold, authentic flavours”
