We have unveiled a meetings package aimed at promoting healthy levels of dopamine, endorphins, oxytocin and serotonin for corporate guests via a healthy new menu, which replaces caffeine and sugary snacks with herbal teas and healthy treats.

The Greenway Hotel & Spa Core Wellness Package is part of a New Year drive by the Greenway to promote positive mental health and natural highs and encouraging creativity and productivity by focusing on the mind, body and soul of guests.
Included on the lunch menu is Mediterranean turkey skillet which promotes dopamine – a feeling of reward - and pumpkin seed and apricot bars for high levels of serotonin, which is linked to wellbeing).
Fresh snacks and drinks throughout the day include fruit smoothies, coolers, bananas and crudities which foster the love hormone, oxytocin, whilst freshly baked no-sugar oat cookies and fresh berries boost endorphins, giving that feel-good euphoria.
Chefs will also use chia seeds rich in nutrients and antioxidants, omega 3-rich mackerel packed with vitamin B12, while almond milk hot chocolates, rich in vitamin E, will be available for those who need an afternoon treat, promoting a healthy heart and boosting immunity.
“The Hide”, the Greenway’s stunning private outdoor space set amongst the ground’s vast landscape, is also available exclusively for breakout sessions to encourage as much time outdoors as in.
The four AA Red Star venue, set within the eight acres of grounds on the edge of the Cotswold countryside, is part of the Eden Hotel Collection, which was named Small Hotel Group of the Year at the AA Hospitality Awards 2024-25.
General Manager Luke Millikin says business guests should be encouraged to make full use of the hotel’s restorative qualities alongside corporate functions.
He said: “Eden Hotel Collection has itself introduced a wide range of initiatives to boost staff wellbeing over the last two years, and we are now looking to share that ethos with our corporate guests.
“Meetings and events represent a significant amount of the working day and can have substantial health impacts on those attending.
“An extended period of being seated can increase sedentary behaviour, and being served snacks and drinks with high sugar and fat content may disrupt healthy diets and restrict creative thinking.
“Therefore, promoting healthy meetings is a crucial aspect of improving the health of colleagues and making the most of time together, and we are excited to be sharing our new package.”
The “Core” meetings package at The Greenway Hotel and Spa starts at £65 per person and includes room hire with mineral water, cordials and trail mix; GAIA Skincare Relaxation Gift Pack for each delegate; arrival drinks in The Hide; decaffeinated coffee and herbal teas; “feel-good” breakfast muffins; mid-morning treats including smoothies, energy balls and healthy cookies; a two-course buffet lunch, and mid-afternoon treats including Asian and Mediterranean inspired dishes, salads, fruit and healthy snacks.
A 24-hour residency package, from £245.00 per person, is also available including an overnight stay with a three-course dinner and a selection of 0% wines, spirits and beers.
The 16th century manor house hotel off Shurdington Road was named as one of the UK’s top ten country house hotels in The Times’ guide to the 100 best places to stay in the UK and is home to the 3 AA Rosette Garden Room restaurant.
The on-site Elan Spa also offers a range of facilities including a hydrotherapy swimming pool, sauna, steam room, sanarium, outdoor vitality pool and Spa Café, while its courtyard and hot tub area underwent a £1.2 million makeover in 2023.
