This is a beautiful place to visit. The hotel is excellent, the rooms have all been recently refurbed to a very high standard. In particular the window in the bathroom was positioned perfectly to enjoy a view of the beautiful countryside while reclining in the room top bath.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The spa was also excellent. Facilities included: a generous sized indoor pool with powerful spray taps, a gym, a hot tub, sauna, steam room and outdoor hot-tub. All of which looked fresh and well maintained.
I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. My husband & I held our wedding ceremony and reception here in April 2024. We were blessed with one of the few sunny days in April and the hotel really shone in the sunshine. The wedding day was absolutely perfect, the hotel exceeded my expectations and the team, led exceptionally by Louise who I had 100% confidence in throughout, delivered to make it the wonderful day for us and our families. I honestly could not have asked for more.
The hotel went above and beyond for us and treated us and our guests like royalty from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. It was the little touches at The Greenway that made this wedding so special for us - the personalised card, private dining the evening before the wedding, the stripes in the lawn specially for our confetti shot, even the chimney sweep as good luck for us!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, The Greenway Hotel and Spa exceeded our expectations, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
We booked a weekend away, accompanied by our very lively working Spaniel who is more used to romping the fields than staying in a hotel... In our room, we found not only a comfortable dog bed, but a new dog toy and a pack of dog treats. This is a hotel that does not just tolerate dogs, but truly welcomes them, and it made all the difference to our stay because we could relax and enjoy our break.
